Claudia M. Carr
Claudia Carr is a passionate family law advocate. Ms. Carr is knowledgeable
in all aspects of family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody,
child support, modifications, property division, and other related areas.
Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Ms. Carr received her Bachelor’s
Degree in Organizational and Corporate Communications with a minor in
Sociology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). After graduating
from UTEP, Ms. Carr moved to southern California to pursue a career in law.
Ms. Carr went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Western State College
of Law and graduated with honors. While in law school she was a Dean’s
Fellow and served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association
and Black Law Students Association. Ms. Carr also received a 1L Honors
Scholarship to study abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, where she studied
Comparative Constitutional Law, Criminal Justice and Alternative Dispute
Resolution. Prior to joining Chung & Ignacio as an associate, Ms.
Carr worked as a law clerk with the firm while in law school.
Ms. Carr is also involved in many organizations, including the San Bernardino
County Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Black Women Lawyers
of Los Angeles, and Richard T. Fields Bar Association. Ms. Carr also volunteers
her time with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Ms. Carr is committed to providing her clients with both effective and
efficient representation. Her background and experience provide her with
the skills and compassion necessary to guide and support families through
the legal process during their time of need.
